
Belsyre Court is a significant building along Woodstock Rd which provides important residential and commercial accommodation, alongside a ground floor parade of shops which are a vital resource for local people.
The 2nd floor commercial unit had been vacant for a number of years and with its, highly segregated floor plan (with multiple partitions) was undesirable to prospective tenants.
TSH’s scheme removed the internal partitions, dated grid ceilings and carpet to make a series of larger, flexible work and meeting spaces. The refurbished office benefits from a newly exposed and refurbished Oak herringbone floor an increased ceiling height with ceiling mounted exposed services painted white. To improve the energy efficiency of the space and as part of a building wide decarbonization strategy, secondary glazing was installed throughout and an ASHP was installed at roof level.
Alongside this, external colonnade was cleaned and repainted and a new lighting scheme installed to create a premium shopfront experience on this prominent North Oxford Site.
